Mother Nature has been kind to us lately… beautiful sunny days, cool nights and plenty of rain. As a result, our spring garden is starting to sprout!

The squash sprouts just exploded out of the soil after the rain on Wed 2/22…


The spinach sprouts are also making an appearance. You’ll notice our plastic snakes who have been helping to keep the pests (i.e. squirrels) out of our garden…


So far, our sunflower sprouts have survived. The plastic snakes are doing their job….


Finally, there are some beautiful yellow flowers on the pumpkin vine. Back in November, a classroom Jack-O-Lantern went into this black planting pot and decomposed. The seeds began to sprout in early January and this is the result…
